World Vision Philippines, together with its longtime partners and advocates, celebrated the transformative power of empowering girls during the #GirlsCan Campaign event held last August 19, 2025. The gathering brought together corporate supporters, beauty queens, media advocates, and long-time partners like PAGEONE Group to reaffirm a shared commitment: to break barriers, build futures, and transform generations.<\/p>\n

Now in its seventh year, the #GirlsCan Campaign, formerly known as the 1000 Girls sponsorship drive, continues to ensure that vulnerable Filipino girls have equal access to quality education, paving the way for leadership, independence, and opportunities beyond limitations. By sponsoring a girl, supporters help shape not just one life but the future of families and communities.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen you empower a girl, you are not just changing her story. You are rewriting the story of her family, her community, and even the next generation,\u201d said Sharon D. Mesias, Public Affairs and Brand Engagement Manager of World Vision Philippines. \u201c#GirlsCan is our movement to show that girls can lead, inspire, and rise above limitations when given the chance.\u201d<\/p>\n

The event featured heartfelt words of appreciation from World Vision\u2019s private sector partners, a showcase of collaborative efforts with PAGEONE Group and Wildfyre bloggers, and inspiring testimonies from this year\u2019s Binibining Pilipinas queens.<\/p>\n

Long-time World Vision ambassador and TV personality Joyce Pring-Trivi\u00f1o echoed this sentiment, drawing from her own experiences as a mother.<\/p>\n
