\uf0b7July 18, 2025: PHA CPR Chair Dr. Don Robespierre Reyes to talk about the CPR-ReadyPH\u2019s Milestones and at the ASEAN Federation of Cardiology Congress in Penang, Malaysia. This is a first for the PHA.<\/p>\n

\uf0b7July 2025: Sen, Lito Lapid refiled the Automated External Defibrillator Bill, an act requiring the placement of AED in public spaces and increasing public awareness on its role in saving lives.<\/p>\n

\uf0b7October 2024: The International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR) hailed the history of the CPR-ReadyPH and the story behind the Samboy Lim Law, calling it \u201camazing\u201d, during PHA Council on CPR Chair Dr. Don Robespierre Reyes\u2019 presentation and subsequent election as ILCOR treasurer at the ILCOR Members\u2019 Meeting in Taipei.<\/p>\n

\uf0b7October 2024: Department of Tourism (DOT)-PHA-Philippine College of Emergency Medicine (PCE) consultative meeting. Agenda: CPR- and Automated
\nExternal Defibrillator-Readiness are prerequisites for DOT-accreditation; CPR and AED guidelines from PHA; and emergency medicine guidelines from PCEM.<\/p>\n
