Miss Universe Philippines 2023 and Sparkle artist Michelle Dee, aka MMD, has released a special music video for her debut single, \u201cReyna<\/a>,\u201d a collaborative project between ABS-CBN Music and GMA in celebration of Pride Month.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m so excited for all of you to see it because this one is really dedicated to all of you specifically for this month, for the community that really screams loud and proud for our pride,\u201d MMD shared.<\/p>\n

Describing it as fun and campy, she hopes her latest project will resonate with a lot of people. <\/p>\n

She said, \u201cIt\u2019s fun, it\u2019s light, it\u2019s empowering, it\u2019s so gay, and it just means a lot, and hopefully it resonates with a lot of people. It\u2019s really meant to celebrate the song and all of its pride. Sobrang reyna niya, sobrang reynang energy lang.\u201d <\/p>\n

Aside from being its talent, MMD took a creative role in the video, which featured her mom, beauty queen-actress Melanie Marquez. Now uploaded on the ABS-CBN Star Music YouTube channel, the MV also gives a peek into her childhood dream car. <\/p>\n

The single \u201cReyna,\u201d released last March under Star Music, is an ode to every queen. She said, \u201cOur objective was clear. This is for every single queen, whether you\u2019re a woman, a man, or anything in between. It\u2019s for you to find your strength to be who you are.\u201d <\/p>\n

Her first music offering has already earned over 1 million streams on Spotify. She previously released a music video for the song, which also featured her mom, Melanie, and her cousin and fellow Kapuso actress Winwyn Marquez. <\/p>\n
