He was earlier accompanied by a man wearing a blue shirt and camouflage pants,\u201d Pacal stated in one of his Facebook posts.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/pageone.zyndk8.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/2-Abandoned-child.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"433\" height=\"757\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-267360\" srcset=\"https:\/\/pageone.zyndk8.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/2-Abandoned-child.png 433w, https:\/\/pageone.zyndk8.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/2-Abandoned-child-172x300.png 172w, https:\/\/pageone.zyndk8.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/09\/2-Abandoned-child-57x100.png 57w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 433px) 100vw, 433px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In the child\u2019s pocket was a handwritten letter requesting that he be brought to the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) office in San Pablo, Laguna.<\/p>\n<p>Pacal immediately brought the child to the Office of the Municipal Social Welfare and Development (OMSWD) in Mamburao, Occidental Mindoro, in hopes of locating the boy\u2019s father.<\/p>\n<p>A CCTV footage posted by Pacal, which was captured by a barangay official, shows a man\u2014later identified as the father\u2014carrying the boy to the waiting shed and leaving him there after a few minutes.<\/p>\n<p>Shortly after the boy was handed over to OMSWD, his paternal grandparents arrived at the office to pick him up.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAt this moment, he is now in the care of his grandparents, who live in Barahan, Santa Cruz, Occidental Mindoro. They are the parents of the man who left the child.
