The Filipino boy group also released its performance video which captures the allure of a brewing love matched with a fresh and upbeat sound that showcases a new side of members Gelo, Akira, JL, Mikki, and Nate.<\/p>\n

This time, they have taken more control in expressing their ideas and vision through their music.<\/p>\n

\u201cBefore we recorded the song we would meet on what we could do to make it more kami,\u201d Mikki said in an interview with ABS-CBN News.<\/p>\n

\u201cGigil\u201d was produced by FlipMusic\u2019s Bojam and composed by Julius James \u201cJumbo\u201d De Belen and John Michael Conchada. The track has already earned 116,000 streams on Spotify while its performance video garnered over 100,000 YouTube views in a week after its release. It also dominated the iTunes chart in the Philippines, Saudi Arabia, UAE, and was featured on Spotify\u2019s New Music Friday Philippines.<\/p>\n

Earlier this year, BGYO released the old school-inspired track \u201cPatintero\u201d which has reached 1.8 million streams on Spotify. They also performed \u201cUuwian\u201d from the soundtrack of \u201cWhat\u2019s Wrong With Secretary Kim\u201d along with JL who released his solo version of the song. Meanwhile, Gelo and Mikki collaborated with Maymay Entrata on the song \u201cKalma Kahit Magulo\u201d from the soundtrack of \u201cHigh Street.\u201d<\/p>\n

The OPM act is gearing up to bring fun and excitement in \u201cWhat\u2019s Wrong With Secretary Kim\u2019s\u201d fanmily day to be held at Market! Market! activity center this June 15 (Saturday), 4pm.<\/p>\n
